About Rantoboko
Born in Rhodesia in 1975 at the peak of the Zimbabwean liberation guerilla war, Sipho Sithole aka Rantoboko was raised on a farm plot on the outskirts of Harare. He grew up around field workers at the same time as he was part of the household that employed them. The innumerable conflicts between his family and the workers awakened Rantoboko to social injustices at an early age. It didn’t stop him, however, from building his own drum set from rusty
