About Randy Buttsex
Virginia's Randy Buttsex was a staple of the "real" underground by the time he recorded his first CD, "Up the Arsenal," in 2003. Recorded (according to Randy) entirely on a 1980 Sears stereo, "Arsenal" enjoyed underground success for the young Christless label, establishing Randy as one of scumrock's premier artists. From the moody opener, "Dark Side of Town" to the riotous "Randy Buttsex Now!", "Up the Arsenal" was a lo-fi punk tour de force, helping pave the way for a new breed of acoustic punk musicians.
