About Ramatam
A sort of early seventies super group featuring some amazing talen. Mike Pinera of Blues Image(and later of Iron Butterfly) was in this group on guitar and vocals, Mitch Mitchell (late of The Jimi Hendrix Experience) on drums and April Lawton on lead guitar. April was one of the first female lead guitarists in a mostly male dominated category. A great blues player with a Hendrix-like sound. She never really hit the fame and fortune that others achieved.
