About Rain In Eden
Imagine the campfires of ancient Silk Road caravans where music played by travelers from distant places merges to create a new sound. Tokyo based Rain In Eden blends instruments from across the Silk Road and Asia to recreate these moments. Rain In Eden began in 2007 with a project to blend the Edo period Shamisen playing of Megumi O. with the contemporary electronic composition of Kelly Williams. Over the next two years the band added north Indian style tabla player Shiori Ishida and percussionists Minowa and Yuzo.
