Raccoon City Massacre is a New Orleans psychedelic metal band, with their roots being in bitcore, punk, and progressive metal. Originally formed by Barrington Herbert in New Orleans Louisiana as Release The Zombies, Raccoon City Massacre was created with the addition of Carlos Avila on vocals, Cory Murdock on guitar, Jacob Reed on bass, and Chris Newton on drums. Raccoon City Massacre's influences include Veil Of Maya, Crossfaith, The Browning, Born Of Osiris, As I Lay Dying, Glassjaw, Mudvayne, Architects, Periphery and Tesseract.
