Quartet Music was an American jazz group active during the 1980s. The band consisted of a number of players who went on to great prominence in modern and avant jazz: Nels Cline (acoustic guitar, recorder), Eric Von Essen (bass), Alex Cline (drums, percussion), and Jeff Gauthier (violin).
