Qafas is a Funeral Doom Metal solo band with classical music influences, formed by Learza in the year 2008 in the middle-eastern lands of Bahrain, Qafas is "Cage" in Arabic Qafas was an ideology that came in the year 2008 by the sole member Learza (Omar A.), but was kept on hold until the year 2009 due to Learza's other musical endeavors; Qafas first began as a Funeral Doom Metal solo band with contemporary classical musical influences, later changing into Avant-garde inspired Metal with influences from various extreme Metal genres.
