About Pyogenesis
Pyogenesis is a German band from Stuttgart, formed in 1991. The band has undergone several stylistic changes over the course of its career, evolving from early death metal and doom metal to gothic metal, and later incorporating alternative rock, alternative metal, and pop-punk elements before returning to a heavier sound in later years. The band has been described as an early contributor to the development of gothic metal. Pyogenesis emerged from the local band Immortal Hate and was founded by vocalist and guitarist Flo V.
