About Pushkin Klezmer Band
The Pushkin Klezmer Band is a Jewish-Gypsy group from Kiev, featuring best wedding musicians from Ukraine and Moldova. For centuries, these places have been nourishing rich traditions of klezmer and Romani music, and it is the only place in Europe, where klezmer culture is still alive today. Pushkin doesn't try to revive klezmer: its musicians just continue the traditions, playing at weddings, parties, and concerts, in synagogues and in the streets.
