Pulmonary Implosion was formed in March 2007 in Greeley, CO by Lord Cody and Smashwell. PI's genre is considered to be progressive death metal. The band focuses on combining death, evil, and darkness with marijuana while playing technical riffs in odd-time signatures at a high rate of speed. PI also believes in true death metal, unlike the recent uprise of "scremo" bands.
