About Private Banking
Dutch indie rock outfit Private Banking is the brainchild of Amsterdam-based musician, songwriter and singer, Ruben van Weegberg. A prominent player in the Amsterdam underground scene, Van Weegberg is a band member of Canshaker Pi and Steve French, as well as a regular supersub in Personal Trainer. During the Covid-19 lockdowns in 2020 and 2021 he found plenty of time to work on Private Banking's début EP, entitled Private Banking, released in the fall (The Fall!) of 2021 thru Subroutine Records' cassette imprint, Glove Compartment.
