About Primal Collective
Recorded in 2010 amidst the trees, Primal Collective is a group of musicians creating polytonal improvisation folk music with guitar, voice, trumpet, wooden flute, blowing horn, singing bowl, violin, maracas, drum, and found objects. Their two disk album with the North Woods Sessions and the Lakewood Sessions will be released this August. Primal Collective was formed in 2010 for Old Forgotten Lands' Primal album. Only one track from the two recorded sessions made it onto Primal as the track "Lakewood."
