Pretty Roach (Ayikoru Fendru, he/him/they/them) is an independent solo artist from central Ohio. Using electronic instruments, saxophone, and ukulele, among other things, Pretty Roach experiments with a fusion of alternative sub genres, such as hyperpop and bedroom pop. With narrative lyricism and poetic devices, Pretty Roach creates songs that discuss themes such as mental health and tumultuous relationships. He cites Kero Kero Bonito, X-Ray Spex, The Go! Team, Gorillaz, and The Frights as his biggest influences.
