About Pre Metal Syndrome
Pre Metal Syndrome (aka P.M.S.) formed in 1984. They were one of the first all female NYCH bands. They recorded their first demo at the 1841 Broadway studios in New York City. The band’s first live show ever was at the legendary venue Rock Hotel with BAD BRAINS and THE CRO MAGS. The band slowly became a well-known act around the New York punk/hardcore scene. They recorded a self-titled debut album in 1986 on Buy Our record, and by the time the album was released in ‘87, half the band had quit P.M.S. to start WENCH, a thrash metal outfit.
