About porte
Porte is an an early alias of Swedish producer Axel Willner, best known for his work as The Field. Under the Porte moniker, which combines guitar-driven glitch and dub atmospherics in a style reminiscent of Pan•American and Fennesz, Willner recorded three EPs in 2001 and 2002, two via netlabel Subsource and one on his own now-defunct imprint Garmonbozia. Willner has also released music as Lars Blek, Cordouan, Loops of Your Heart, and Hands.
