Popdef is the moniker of Robert Nightingale, the English born musician and designer. He currently resides in New York. Popdef is a band orchestrated by an individual yet the recorded works feature a variety of guest artists and friends. The popdef band name allows for a more flexible dynamic, dictated by a nomadic lifestyle and his belief that a greater body of ideas and inspiration emerge from collaboration.
