About Pony Talk
Like all good bands, Pony Talk started as a joke. Ryan Brennan (lead guitarist) and Maggie Clancy (lead vocals) initially came together in the vibrant, albeit niche, arena of — a band revered for its Tony Hawk's Pro Skater soundtrack covers. Their dynamism, honed in small beer and sweat-soaked punk venues up and down the West Coast, found a new expression during the solitude of 2020’s lockdown, when Maggie was losing her mind living alone and Ryan suggested trying to write songs through Zoom, texts, and FaceTime.
