About Planet 12
Planet 12 was a hard working female fronted rock band from Athens, Ohio that existed in various forms from 1996 through 2002. An intense, hard-edged energy drives this band, even in the most melodic of their songs. Though ostensibly not punk rock, the minor chords and tight drumming and an impassioned female singer might fool you. The band was approached by several record labels towards the end of their run, but due to personal reasons, the group imploded in 2002.
