Pit of Despair began as a school project in 2003. Their unique, bold sound has evolved over the course of 6 years. Ben, the persevering lead member, has currently put this project on hold in pursuit of other musical and non-musical interests; Atomic Overdose, the motivational sideman, continues to be useless in the band's productions.
