About Pipe Dreams
Rock band from New York, released a s/t album in 1988. It’s January of 1985, I (guitarist Joe Chinnici) just turned 20, and it’s time to become a rock star. So, what do I do? I call my high school music buddies, Mike DeMita, Dave Bjelke (later replaced by Bill McIntyre) and Sam Mastandrea (later replaced by Jamie Lee), and I name the band in honor of the first rock and roll song I ever wrote, “Pipe Dreams”. Here we go, we’re gonna be stars!
