About Piotr Alexewicz
Born April 9th 2000 in Wrocław, Piotr Alexewicz - a semifinalist of the 18th International Chopin Competition, where he got a Special Prize - studied under Prof. Paweł Zawadzki in Wrocław and is currently a student of Prof. Konstantin Scherbakov in Zurich. At the 19th International Chopin Competition he was voted The winner by a public poll – with 19,961 votes while ranked fifth by the 17 member Competition jury. He has collaborated closely with the National Chopin Institute since 2017.
