
Pieter Bordon (born around 1450 in Ghent; died after 1484) was a Flemish singer, composer and cleric. Bordon was the son of the Ghent citizen Valeriaen Bordon and his wife Margriete van Wijniersch. His father - as a cotiadiane singer (i.e. as an adult choir singer) to Saint Jacob in Ghent from the 24th June 1440 to 24. June 1452 demonstrable - died when Bordon was still a minor, so that the inheritance court was responsible for safeguarding his claims from the inheritance.
