They entertain audiences with forgotten favorites from musical pioneers such as Grandpa Jones, Sam & Kirk McGee, The Carter Family, Uncle Dave Macon, Stringbean, and The Coon Creek Girls. Phillip was taught clawhammer banjo at the age of eleven by his Great Uncle, Louis Marshall Jones, aka Hee Haw and the Grand Ole Opry's Grandpa Jones.
