
Philip Kroonenberg (born 1952 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands) is a Dutch singer, songwriter, guitarist and psychotherapist based in Scheveningen, the coastal district of The Hague, The Netherlands. Kroonenberg started to play the guitar at age 8 and studied the LPs his father had brought from the United States in 1956: folk and blues records by people such as Big Bill Broonzy, Leadbelly, Lightning Hopkins and Pete Seeger. His father also loved flamenco and French chanson.
