About Petrol Williams
Petrol Williams is the solo project of co-founder and bassist of Naarm band, The Slingers. Drum machines, industrial synths and droned-out guitars craft Williams' sound, floating somewhere between new wave and dark wave. While influenced by artists like Boy Harsher and New Order, Williams considers himself most inspired by outlaw country icons like Townes Van Zandt and Kris Kristofferson.
