Peter Gijsbert van Anrooy (born in Zaltbommel, october 13, 1879 — died december 31, 1954) was a Dutch composer and conductor. From 1890 to 1899 he studied piano, violin and composition at the Toonkunst Muziekschool in Utrecht, The Netherlands. After this period he studied conducting with Willem Kes in Dresden and in Moscow.
