About Peter Rubin
Peter Rubin, born Peter Kohlhuber (* 5 May 1942 in Mährisch-Ostrau, Reichsgau Sudetenland, today Czech Republic), is a German singer, presenter, songwriter, and guitarist. Rubin completed a commercial apprenticeship after finishing school. He then studied economics at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. In the 1960s, he founded the band Pemagos with friends. In 1966, his first record, Wieder daheim (Homeward Bound), was released. In 1967, he represented Germany at the International Song Contest in Sopot, Poland.
