About Peter One
Peter One (born Pierre-Evrard Tra in Bonoua, Ivory Coast, in 1956) is a singer-songwriter from the Ivory Coast who is now based in Nashville, USA, and mixes American folk and country with West African traditions. He first achieved success in the 1980s as one-half of Jess Sah Bi & Peter One, then immigrated to the U.S. in 1995. He eventually released his solo debut album, "Come Back to Me", in 2023 (following "Alesso" that he home-recorded in 2009).
