About Pete Stone
What Pete says . . . In Melbourne in 1997 I recorded my first demo, a 10-track cassette called 'Big Planes and Empty Pockets'. At that time a good friend of mine Sacha Molitorisz, a journalist with the Sydney Morning Herald, decided to set up a record label. He listened to my demo and shhh records was born. So in 1998 I set about recording my first album, 'My Great Plan'. The Sydney Morning Herald said, "...a man ahead of his time" and gave it 4/5, I'm still proud of that album.
