About Pernille Gunvad
Raised in a red terraced house in Eastern Denmark, Pernille Gunvad grew up surrounded by music, classical theatre and poetry throughout childhood. Upon graduating Gunvad relocated to Copenhagen, where she put together her first demo, which quickly found its way into the hands of an international major label (Virgin Rec.). Unable to come to an agreement regarding the finer points of the contract, Pernille decided to put out her debut album, Fire, on her own label, GoGreatGuns Records in 2005.
