Folk and Soul. Paul Tefft is a folk, rock, indie, and pop musician from Grand Rapids, MI. He's played in such bands as Simple Letdown, Jenny Perfect, Kimono You Don't, Paul Tefft and the Nation as well as others. He picked up a guitar at 12 years old, and began writing at 13. His music is derived from an ensemble of influences; including Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, Paul Simon, Elvis Costello, Ryan Adams and the soulful sound of Detroit's Motown musicians.
