About Paul Reid
There are at least two artists with the name Paul Reid. The first was born Paul Percival Reeds in Cobourg, Ontario, August 1tth, 1927. He became a popular announcer and was soon hired by CHML (Hamilton, ON). It was in Hamilton that Paul started reading poetry on the air. In 1964, he moved to Quebec and started working with CJAD. It was in Montreal that his legendary Christmas show took on its form and became his most popular piece ever. The second has through the admirable songs and words of Josh Pyke
