Paul Masse is a west coast singer=songwriter who released two albums for Liberty in the late sixties. "Butterfly Lake" was his first lp and is a collection of orchestrated folk/pop with a strong influence to the stylings of Lee Hazlewood, but there are time that Johnny Rivers comes to mind (the title track for instance) anyway, the string arrangements might be overpowering at times, but still an enjoyable listen.
