About Paquita Rico
Paquita Rico (Francisca Rico Martínez, Triana, Seville, Spain, 13 October 1929 - 9 July 2017) was a Spanish film actress and copla and sevillanas singer. She appeared in 30 films between 1948 and 1983. The copla, copla andaluza ("Andalusian copla"), tonadilla or canción folklórica is a form of Spanish popular song, close to flamenco and sevillanas, deriving from the poetic form of the same name. Although the genre has a long heritage, it flourished in the 1930s and 1940s.
