About Paper Noise
Paper Noise was started by Matt Gregory as a noise / soundtrack freak out mix tape side project in Savannah, Georgia around 2006. The concept was that all the recordings are primary 1 take arrangements made using extremely simple instrumentation: 1 mic, drums and a cheap toy keyboard and only recorded on 4 track analog tape recorder. The material mostly was released by making mix cassette tapes and leaving them around different areas of the City of Savannah (public restrooms, bars, bus stations, libraries ect.
