
Paolo Magni (born c. 1650, died Feb. 21, 1737) was an Italian composer, probably from Milan. His operas were performed there from 1686 to 1710, although the first record we have is of his "Affari ed amori" being performed in Isola Bella in the summer of 1675. After Affari ed amori , for many years there is no other news of his activity at the Regio; a participation of him in the work Aeneas in Italy in 1686, information reported perhaps by mistake by Stieger and accepted by Walker ( The New Grove Dict.
