About Panjabi MC
Rajinder Singh Rai (born February 14, 1973), known by his stage name Panjabi MC, is an English recording artist, rapper, record producer and DJ. He is best known for the 2002 Bhangra single "Mundian To Bach Ke", which achieved international success and sold approximately 10 million copies worldwide, placing it among the best-selling singles of all time. In addition to this hit, he received recognition for the 2003 release "Jogi". He has been described by AllMusic as one of the most prominent figures in the Bhangra genre.
