About Panayotis Tsakalakos
Panayotis Tsakalakos (Greek: Παναγιώτης Τσακαλάκος) is the winner of the second edition of Greek Idol (2011). He was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA. He lived there until the age of 13. That’s when part of his family and him relocated to Athens, Greece. He started playing music as a child. In 12th grade he understood that music is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Chaos occurred in the family (his mother wanted him to follow his fathers career path- an engineer)
