About Pamirt
Pamirt is a Latvian dark music ensemble from Rīga, Latvia, recognized for their atmospheric blend of neoclassical, gothic, and experimental elements. The group began in 2017 as a solo project for vocalist and pianist Kristiāna Kārkliņa while she was residing in Berlin, Germany. It quickly evolved into a collaborative effort as she recruited members from the Latvian black metal scene, specifically from the band Eschatos. Critics have compared their sound to artists like Diamanda Galás, Dead Can Dance, and Lingua Ignota.
