The PerenniAL Acoustic Observatory in the Antarctic Ocean (PALAOA, meaning 'whale' in Hawaiian) is a scientific research project by the Alfred-Wegener-Institute for Polar and Marine Research, located near the Neumayer Station in Antarctica. It records the sounds of the southern polar ocean, and makes these recordings available as live streaming audio.
