'Painting Stockholm' is the 19years old german singer and songwriter Monya, who records and works together with several artists and bands. The sound focusses on the singer and her guitar and is often spiced up with peppy percussion. The music ranges from exhilarating and danceable Indie to cute storytelling songs and brash-clash-Rock'n'Roll. Inspired by British-, American- but mostly Swedish Indie Rock and Pop musiacians and the sympathy for the country's musicscene, the pseudonym 'Painting Stockholm' came into existance.
