About Pageantry
Since its formation in the small music town of Denton, Pageantry has emerged as a riveting and unique voice in the Texas music scene with its chaotic blend of dream pop, odd-metered shoe-gaze and catchy lo-fi pop. The band’s first success came from the 2013 release of their debut EP “Friends of the Year.” The four-song record was lauded by critics with Dallas Observer comparing it to ”an out-of-body experience” and helped to catapult the trio into appearances at major music festivals
