Paddy Schmidt (born 16 February 1963 in Detmold, under the name Harald Kligge) is a German singer, songwriter and entertainer. He leads the folk-rock band Paddy Goes To Holyhead, which he founded in 1988 and left for three years in 2001 to work on solo performances. The folksinger gained some fame with his interpretation of the Celtic harmonica, which enables the player to modulate even the difficult passages of the fast triolic ornaments of Celtic music, particularly jigs and reels.
