About Over The Effect
Over The Effect is a alt prog/post rock band from Atlanta, GA. Band members Ashley Barker (guitars and vocals), Aaron Kamphuis (bass) and Nate Lewin (drums) formed the band in May of 2012 and began writing music that is a hybrid of 90's alternative and grunge rock with 70's era progressive and psychedelic rock. The band cites a long and wide array of influences, among them Soundgarden, Tool, Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, and King Crimson. All three members contribute equally to songwriting and production.
