OUTGROUP is the pseudonym used by UK based drummer/ producer Oscar Cassidy for his bliphop/ indietronica project. Previously, the project was known as HADOKEN, in a not-very-subtle-or-imaginitive SFII reference. It stands apart from his work in various hiphop, jazz, soul and hardcore bands, while occasionally referencing such experience... then taking the piss out of it. In this and other musical projects, he has supported the likes of The Bays, Ty, Candi Staton, Raging Speedhorn, Syphus, Smaak and Kraak, Virus Syndicate, and so on...
