About Out of the Swim
Out of the Swim are a Falkirk-based collective that write experimental music. Originally called The Project, the core members are Graham Marjoribanks (piano) and Dickson Telfer (bass). Their first album, Plean International Airport, also features Bryan Dignan (guitar), Gordon White (vocals), David Dowell (drums), Louise Hamilton (vocals) and Susan Appelbe (cello). Out of the Swim had never met prior to completion of the album and, to date, have only been in the same room once, for a gig perfomed at Grubowskis pub in Larbert during 2007.
