About Ouilfreed Meyou
Ouilfreed MEYOU – real name Wilfried Meyoupa Noumbissi – is a young singer and songwriter born in Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon. Although his music is sometimes described as part of the KameRnB movement, it really belongs to afro soul and afro pop with some melodious and melancholy scents inspired by Cameroonian musical traditions. Revealed by the “Dream Coca-Cola” music contest he won in 2004, Ouilfreed represented the famous brand during two years.
