Oteya is a female Afro-pop artist from Namibia. She started as a member of Gal Level before deciding to go solo. Her music is a fusion of Afro-pop and house, while her lyrics are typically in Oshiwambo. As part of Gal-Level, she won both Sanlam-NBC Music Awards and Namibian Music Awards.
