About Oruç Güvenç ve Tümata
Sufi master Rahmi Oruç Güvenç was born in Tavsanli, Kütahya in 1948, as the second son of Urkiye and Kamil Güvenç. Oruç was a world-renowned musician, music and movement therapist, ethnomusicologist, psychologist, sociologist, After a dream he had at the age of 12, he started his music career by taking violin lessons from his music teacher Fethi Bey during his secondary school years and learned oud, rebab, ney and tanbur during his university years.
