About Orchid Fixation

Orchid Fixation is a melodic, post-hardcore band based in Norwich, Norfolk. Orchid Fixation was born on New Year's Day 2005. After deciding to leave his old band, Steve Phipps immediately started writing new material. Within a few weeks he found himself with a wealth of new songs, but no one to play them with. He got in touch with Dan Sluckin of 64 Stitches about drumming for the new band. In mid-February, Steve and Dan started jamming, and Steve approached Ian Griffiths about filling in on bass until someone else was found.
